How to Turn Your Hardest Year Into Business Growth (Without Bypassing the Pain)
If 2025 was a year that cracked you wide open and felt like one long, slow, painful unravelling, this is how you can make sure that all wasn't for nothing when it comes to the growth of your business.
We are not talking today about silver linings. We are not bypassing the hardship with gratitude or pretending that your breakdown was some kind of breakthrough.
This is about actually transmuting what cracked you open into something that your business can grow from.
What I'm sharing with you today comes from my nervous system breakdown this year. The one that landed me agoraphobic, unable to leave my house, in chronic panic disorder all day long.
I took what I learned from that experience in two very specific areas and used it to grow my business and make it more bulletproof for next time. What this has actually done is made me and my business stronger.
And I don't mean taking the pain you've experienced and suddenly changing your niche to help people with that specific thing. We are going to look at two very specific areas of your business that you can grow once you have shed.
What I have built since is honestly the most honest, sustainable, and clean version of my business yet. And the most authentic fuck yes version of me yet as well.
So welcome if you are a high-functioning woman still trying to lead through the debris of a rebirth whilst running your business at the same time.
Your Year Didn't Break You, It Revealed You
Think about this year not breaking you, but actually revealing you.
You probably don't need to reinvent your whole business. But what I do want you to look at is: am I still running it from the woman who had to survive it?
You get to look at the version of you who went through that challenging experience, and then you get to decide what part of you had to die during that experience.
Why were you gifted that challenge? Notice I use those words very intentionally.
I was gifted that challenge. That whole year was a gift. And I get to sit back now, not fully on the other side but coming out of the crap, and look back and go, wow, I can really see that.
Those parts of me that were leading the show, that came to the surface during this challenge, they actually had to go. They had to go for my life to change. They had to go for my business to grow. They had to go for that next level version of me to come through.
Part One: The Identity Work (Who Had to Die So You Could Rise?)
I want you to reflect back, even if you're not fully on the other side. You will have noticed what identities have been coming forward. What parts of you have been leading. What purpose they held.
There is now a choice as you start to move forward.
Instead of asking, "What do I need to create now?" I want you to ask: Who does this next step actually require me to become?
There were so many survival parts of me that arose through my challenge this year. I could see how every time I'd had a certain challenge over the last couple of years, that part was coming forward and taking the lead.
Now I can look at that and see: every time I came to these challenges, it was the same person coming forward. This time I've done it differently. That is why I'm able to start to come out the other side.
But I didn't bypass the survival identity. I haven't just chosen to be someone else. I've been in the deepest, darkest, painful unbecoming. Painful identity death. Painful detachment from so many areas of my life that were concreting me to the ground.
Who does this year require me to become? And what am I no longer available to carry?
These are the two things I want you to start looking at in terms of your identity.
This is what subconscious reprogramming actually looks like. Not affirmations over unhealed patterns, but the willingness to let parts of you die so new parts can lead.

Why Your Identity Matters More Than Your Strategy
What you shed matters more than what you start next. Because if you think about frequency-first work, we need to recalibrate first.
If you try to build your next level from the identity of the woman who cracked, from the identity of the woman who's always faced challenges the same way, then your business will feel like it's about to collapse again.
Most high-level women will pivot too quickly. What they'll do is change their offer and content. They'll change their team. And whilst they're doing this and still not getting results, they haven't considered that they're not updating the identity behind it.
So it's still feeling heavy. It's still not clicking. You're still self-sabotaging. You're still hitting income ceilings. You're still attracting the same patterns. You're still saying yes when you mean no. You're still not holding boundaries. You're still having feast or famine income cycles.
You still want spaciousness but you genuinely sabotage yourself every time you try to slow down.
I know mentees this year who've been forced into slowness by physical injury. Because they had to break patterns of choosing to slow down.
This is what nervous system regulation for entrepreneurs actually addresses. Not just symptoms, but the patterns underneath that keep recreating the same cycles.
The Patterns That Surface During Crisis
What patterns surfaced for you? Was it hyper-independence? Emotional outsourcing? Urgency?
And did you notice them and actually deal with them? Or did you press pause and shove it in the cupboard?
When your identity is recalibrated, your business becomes a byproduct of you. It reflects the internal frequency you're holding.
This is the foundation of energetic alignment in business. You can't fake frequency. Your business will always mirror what's unhealed within you.
Part Two: The Strategy Work (What Systems Failed You?)
The second thing I want you to look at is your strategy.
Strategy isn't toxic. I preach frequency first, but I also teach strategy. What can be toxic is misaligned strategy.
If your income dipped this year or you couldn't show up, that is not just a visibility issue. That is a system and structure issue.
If your business didn't have the infrastructure to hold you when you needed it and then it collapsed, that's a system and structure issue. But also probably an identity issue too.
Do I believe I'm ready to put in systems? Am I ready to let go? Am I ready to lead from my next level and implement automations and team?
This comes from a conversation in my Mastermind last week. Someone was talking about this being a really slow season internally. They're struggling, lost motivation. Things are really busy. Things are hard right now.
And that's okay because we are human. Everything isn't always going to be rosy.
What was dropping off for her: her content. "I can't think of anything to post. I haven't got the motivation. I don't want to put that energy out."
The Observation Exercise That Changes Everything
What I said to her is: What I want you to do right now is observe. What pieces of my business are struggling or dropping off whilst I'm in this challenge?
Because when you have capacity, or you outsource to someone who knows how to help, this is an opportunity to look at these things and go, okay, when things get hard for me, it is content.
So what can I put in place when I have mental capacity? A system. A process. A content bank. Something that helps you continue on the things that drop off when you're having a human experience.
This is what scaling your business with ease actually means. Not that it's easy, but that your business has infrastructure to hold you when you're not at 100%.
The Questions That Reveal Your Weak Points
If it's your income that has paused, do you need to look at your offer suite?
If you've been through a challenge, and honestly this year, every second person is saying 2025 tried to break them, me too, if you're looking at this and thinking, okay, my income dips when I'm having my human experience, let's look at your offer suite.
Are your offers leveraged to actually give you space? Do you have backup plans if you cannot turn up? Or do you just not earn money if you can't turn up to work?
It's fine if that's your business model and you love it, but there's a lot of pressure in that. When I think about a spacious business model, I think about what I've set up over the last few years that actually held me this year. That allowed me to step back. To not be on all the time.
This is the first December I can remember in so long where I'm not feeling rushed to see all my clients before Christmas or to throw an extra launch in. I feel so spacious.
This is what holistic business strategy creates. Not just tactics, but a business architecture that supports your humanness.

My Business Held Me (And Yours Can Too)
This year I went through what I went through and my business didn't collapse. Did the income grow in the way I wanted? No. But that's because I had space to not launch. It also didn't die off.
In November, I renewed six out of six of my last year's Mastermind mentees. They're in their third year. Six out of six continuing. And I welcomed another three, and two people into private support.
Now I know that at minimum, my business next year, set up in a way that I'm leveraging my time, deeply supporting people still, at minimum my business is turning over six figures. At minimum. Because the contracts are signed and the people have started.
We can leverage our systems.
This is intuitive business coaching meets strategic infrastructure. The blend that creates sustainable success.
The Practical Exercise: Make the List
Look at the breakdown, the challenge, the time you were really struggling, and make a list.
What dropped off for you?
Was it income?
Was it content?
Was it systems and processes?
Did your podcast get ignored for six months?
Then strategically, that is the thing you're going to build out a better system for. Get better help for. Find a way to bulletproof.
Maybe it's offer delivery. There was only one Mastermind session I missed this year. Because my daughter had been up vomiting all morning. But it was a hot seat call and we had Annise there, my co-coach in that programme. So people still got what they needed.
Think about the way you leverage your offers, the way you've built your business. Does it allow for humanness? Does it allow for space?
Get a really good indication of what needs that next level support, that next level system. Because you're now thinking like your next level identity, using the challenge as data to know where your next focus needs to go.
This is body-led decision making using real evidence from your lived experience.
The Two Major Pieces to Take Forward
You can take these two major pieces:
1. The Identity Work: Who you were during this experience. What parts of you have died off. Do they still need healing? Do they still need support to feel safe, to not be leading your business?
2. The Strategy Work: The systems that need to be in place. The parts of your strategy and income that died off.
If you use those two learnings and apply them to your business, you're going to help future-proof your business through challenges. And you'll turn something that was not nice into growth.
This is what transformational coaching for soulful women addresses. Both the internal frequency work and the external strategy work. In that order.

The Power Is in the Integration
The power really is in the integration.
Not everything needs to be burned down. I know it feels like that sometimes, but it really needs to be rewired.
You've had this challenging year. Maybe you're still in it. How do you stop to actually integrate what happened? Or did you just keep going?
This is Visibility Rebirth. Not a new brand. It's an embodiment in being seen in your real frequency.
The Questions That Lead to Integration
What no longer fits but you're still leading from?
What patterns are you tired of repeating? Think inconsistency, people-pleasing, scarcity mindset, feast or famine cycles. Saying yes to people just because you need the money, even though your gut says they're not aligned with your values.
What systems would have helped you then that you need to now install?
This is where you rebuild from.
This is what emotional resilience for entrepreneurs creates. The capacity to look at your patterns without shame and implement structures that support your wholeness.
Your Invitation
If this year has cracked you wide open and you're ready to be met in that rebuild, come and get in the room with me.
I have a whole offer ecosystem to help you go from survival identity through rebirth and out the other side. Into the pivot. Into the fuck yes frequency. Into overflow.
Visibility Rebirth (launching in February): For the woman ready to shed survival identity and step into embodied authority.
Private Containers: Deep support using hypnosis, EFT, and multiple conversations to help you find safety in a new part to take the lead.
The Mastermind: For women growing their business from frequency and strategy, from overflow. Where embodied strategy meets energetics.
We can have a conversation about which container will best support you.
Let's turn that difficult year into business growth. Not by bypassing the pain. Not by pretending it was all a blessing. But by doing the deep work of letting parts of you die, healing what needs healing, and building strategic infrastructure that can hold the version of you that's emerging.
Because your business cannot outgrow the version of you still running it.
But when you do the identity work first, when you let the old parts die, when you build systems that support your humanness, everything changes.
Your business becomes a reflection of your evolution. Your income becomes sustainable. Your energy becomes preserved. Your impact becomes deeper.
Not because you worked harder. But because you finally became the woman who could hold it.
