The Strategy That Shocked My Clients (and Led to 100% Hight Ticket Retention)
Let's get one thing clear: this shouldn't even be shocking.
But it is.
In an online business world obsessed with scaling, automating, and optimising, we've somehow forgotten the one thing that never stops converting:
Being human.
In this post, we're dismantling the belief that growth has to mean disconnection. We'll talk about why leading with connection isn't just nice, it's strategic. You'll hear what happened behind the scenes of my mastermind that led to a full 100% client renewal (yes, for a high-ticket container). And you'll see exactly why authenticity, presence, and personalisation are not extras in your business strategy, they are the strategy.
This is the kind of post that makes you exhale.
That reminds you your way still works.
That helps you build a business that's intimate and scalable.
Because it's time we re-humanise how we do business.
When Did Care Become a Strategy?
It happened in passing. A new client inside one of my high-ticket offers told me, "I couldn't believe you actually replied to my email. I thought it would be automated."
She was shocked that I remembered something she'd said during a group call, and that I followed up with a hypnosis to support her integration.
To her, that level of attention was rare.
To me, it was normal.
And that's when it hit me:
This is the strategy no one talks about.
We've outsourced the most magnetic part of our businesses: connection.
In a rush to scale, we've delegated the thing that actually makes people feel safe to invest, stay, and refer.
But what if presence is your most profitable move?
What if remembering your people is what keeps them in your world?

The Forgotten Art of Seeing Your Clients
There's something that happens when you're in the constant noise of business coaching advice. You start believing that systems matter more than souls. That funnels are more important than feeling. That automation is the only path to freedom.
But here's what I've learned through working with hundreds of soul-led entrepreneurs: your clients don't just want your framework. They want to feel like they matter to you.
They want to know that when they share something vulnerable on a group call, you're actually listening. Not just nodding whilst mentally drafting your next Instagram caption, but truly hearing them. Holding space for what they're moving through. Seeing the woman behind the business struggle.
This is emotional intelligence in business mentorship. And it's becoming increasingly rare.
The Real ROI of Being Human
Here's what you won't see on most sales pages:
"This mentor will remember what you said on the last call."
"You won't just get a framework. You'll get care."
"She will send you a voice note after the group call just because she felt something for you."
But that's the part that keeps people renewing.
In my mastermind, year two rolled into year three with 100% of clients staying on.
Not because I rebranded or rebuilt everything.
Not because I introduced some complicated 9-step success path.
Because I built relationships.
Because I paid attention.
Because I didn't treat them like data points.
The truth is, in this saturated online space, strategy alone won't hold your people. Templates won't touch their hearts. It's the micro-moments of connection that make the macro-impact.
It's when someone sees themselves in your response, your energy, your noticing, that's when they choose to stay.
Why Traditional Client Retention Strategies Miss the Mark
Most business coaches will tell you that client retention is about delivering on your promises. About creating results. About having a solid offer structure.
And yes, those things matter.
But they're not what makes someone renew a high-ticket investment year after year.
What creates sustainable client retention is the felt experience of being in your world. It's the emotional safety that comes from knowing you're not just a transaction. It's the nervous system regulation that happens when someone consistently shows up for you in ways that feel nourishing, not extractive.
This is where most high-touch business mentorship falls short. There's an assumption that "high-touch" means more calls, more access, more deliverables. But what clients actually crave is more presence. More attunement. More of you being genuinely invested in their success.
Real connection-led business growth comes from boundaried presence. From showing up fully when you're there, and trusting that the energy of care lingers even when you're not.
What This Looks Like Practically (It's Simpler Than You Think)
This isn't about adding more to your plate. It's about stripping things back to what actually works.
Here's how I embody this in my business:
Every confirmation email says "Reply, I read every one." And I mean it.
I send voice notes to new clients on Instagram or Voxer. Not as a "hack," but as a way of being.
I drop into people's DMs post-masterclass with a personal note: "Here's a hypnosis I created based on what you shared."
I remember details. Not to be strategic, but because I care. And yes, that's strategic.
This isn't cold outreach. It's embodied leadership.
It's not about proving your worth through availability. It's about presence with boundaries.
And yes, it converts.
The Small Moments That Create Big Loyalty
Let me give you some real examples of how this plays out in my world.
Last month, one of my mastermind clients mentioned in passing during a group call that she was struggling with visibility blocks around a particular offer. She didn't ask for support. She just named it.
The next day, I sent her a voice note with a specific EFT tapping sequence and a reframe around her pricing. It took me seven minutes. But to her? It was everything. She messaged back saying she'd been stuck on this for months and that one personalised piece of support shifted something that strategy alone couldn't touch.
That's not a retention tactic. That's relationship-based business building.
Another example: I have a client who's been in my world for two years. She went quiet for a few weeks, which isn't like her. Instead of assuming she was busy or fine, I reached out. Turns out, she was going through something heavy in her personal life and had been trying to "hold it together" in the business.
We paused her payment for that month. No questions. No pressure. Just space.
She's still with me today. Not because of my frameworks, but because I made it safe for her to be human whilst building a business.
This is what aligned business mentorship for spiritual entrepreneurs actually looks like. It's not about perfection. It's about presence.
Building a Culture of Care
This kind of business isn't built by accident. It's cultivated through intentional design.
Here's what that looks like inside my own business ecosystem:
Team Training Rooted in Emotional Intelligence: If and when I delegate client touchpoints, my team knows my values. We don't default to templates, we default to truth. Every team member is trained in our brand frequency, and emotional nuance isn't outsourced to bots.
Community Norms That Centre Humanity: In group calls, the expectation is presence, not performance. Clients are invited to speak truth without being polished. Rawness is welcome. And I model that. I'm not the guru on a pedestal. I'm the guide who remembers what it means to be in the messy middle.
Systems That Enhance, Not Replace, Intimacy: Automations are set up to hold people with clarity, not push them into funnels. Our onboarding emails feel like welcome mats, not checklists. Every part of the system reinforces connection.
This isn't just a vibe. It's a structure that supports the energy.
Because connection isn't scalable when it depends on memory alone. It's scalable when it's embedded in how you do everything.

When Automation Serves Connection (Not Replaces It)
I need to be clear about something: I'm not anti-automation. I love automation. I use it extensively in my business.
But there's a difference between automating for leverage and automating to avoid relationship.
Sustainable business growth for coaches requires both systems and soul. You need the infrastructure that holds your offers, your clients, your content. But you also need the human touchpoints that make people feel like they're in a container with a real person, not a robot.
I use automation to buy back my time so I can spend it on depth, not admin. That's the real power of leveraged systems in a soul-led business.
The Inner Work Behind the Outer Results
Let's name what's true: this level of intimacy in business requires nervous system capacity.
It asks you to feel safe being seen.
It asks you to stop proving.
It asks you to slow down enough to remember what matters.
You cannot build a connection-led business from survival mode.
You cannot hold deep presence when your own nervous system is constantly bracing.
This is why I always return to the Energies of Success Framework:
ALIGN: Aligning my strategy with my body's truth. Is this launch, email, or offer something I feel congruent with, on a somatic level?
CLEAR: Releasing the pressure to prove, perform, or perfect. Clearing old patterns that say I have to do more to be worthy.
LEVERAGE: Building structures that support me showing up fully without burning out. Leveraging content, team, and rhythm that feel regenerative.
Because when your business is built from safety, connection becomes sustainable.
And when connection is sustainable, retention becomes natural.
Scaling Doesn't Mean Saying Less
One of the biggest lies we're told is that scaling means speaking less, showing up less, connecting less.
But what if scaling meant saying more, with clarity?
What if your content didn't have to be more frequent, just more true?
When your words are rooted in resonance, they do more than convert, they connect.
When your offers are built from real listening, they don't just sell, they serve.
And when your leadership is felt, not just followed, your clients don't just renew, they rise.

The Myth of Intimacy Versus Scale
I used to believe that you had to choose. Intimacy or income. Deep connection or scalable systems. Being present or being profitable.
But that's a false binary.
The truth is, intimacy creates scale. When your clients feel truly seen, they don't just stay, they bring others. They become your most powerful marketing. They refer friends, share your content, and talk about their experience in ways that no ad campaign could replicate.
This is what happens when you build a business model for spiritual women that honours both growth and groundedness. You're not choosing between expansion and integrity. You're building something that holds both.
My mastermind isn't small. We have women from multiple countries, different time zones, various business models. But every single one of them feels held. Because the structure supports intimacy at scale.
This is how you scale without losing your soul. You don't dilute the depth. You multiply the containers that can hold it.
A Reminder for the Soul-Led Leader
If you're reading this and feeling a pull, a whisper, a resonance, it's not by accident.
You're not here to mimic someone else's method.
You're here to lead with your whole frequency.
You're here to build a business that reflects who you are at your core, not just what the market wants.
So here's your reminder:
You're allowed to disrupt the "shoulds."
You're allowed to prioritise presence over polish.
You're allowed to build success from soul.
And when you do, the kind of results you create will shock your clients, because they're not used to being seen like this.
But you? You'll just be being you.
That's the magic.
That's the strategy.
That's the future of this industry.
A future where care isn't a lost art, it's the standard.
A future where the most magnetic thing you can be… is human.
