When your ego wants more clients - but your body says no
LISTEN HERE | WATCH HERE
You know that moment when you're staring at your business thinking: I've done everything right. What is actually going on?
You're posting consistently. You're showing up. You're doing all the things you've been taught to do, following all the strategies that worked for everyone else. Your offer is validated. Your systems are in place. Things were flowing beautifully, and then... they just stopped.
Not dramatically. Not with a crash. Just this strange, frustrating stagnation. Like invisible quicksand that you can't quite identify but can absolutely feel.
If that's you right now, if you're in a place where your business feels stuck and you're cycling through every possible strategic fix without getting traction, then what I'm about to share will probably make you exhale with relief.
Because here's the truth: it's not your strategy. It's your frequency.
This is the conversation I had with a client just days ago. A woman who has built serious momentum over the past couple of years. She's done the work. She's got the skills. She's created brilliant offers. And yet, she'd hit an invisible wall where effort stopped matching results.
Within minutes of talking, we found the block. And it had absolutely nothing to do with her marketing plan.
Why Strategy Alone Isn't Enough
When Launches Flop Without a Clear Reason
Let's start with what this actually looks like in real time.
You create an offer you're genuinely excited about. You know it's good. You know it serves your people. You craft beautiful messaging around it. You show up consistently to talk about it. You do everything your business mentor told you to do.
And then... crickets.
Maybe you get a few inquiries. Maybe people say they're interested but don't book. Maybe your DMs are filled with "this sounds amazing" but no one's actually buying. And you're left sitting there going: what am I missing?
Most business mentors at this point would say: let's tweak your funnel. Let's get more eyes on your offer. Let's adjust your messaging. Let's look at your pricing.
And look, all of those things matter. They genuinely do. But they're not where I start. Because in my experience, when strategy isn't landing, it's not usually a strategy problem. It's an energetic mismatch.
Over-Effort From Fear Instead of Alignment
Here's what happens when you're building from fear instead of frequency: you start doing more. You post more content. You show up on more platforms. You add more value. You create more bonuses. You discount your prices to make it easier for people to say yes.
And still, nothing lands the way you want it to.
Because the energy underneath all that effort is: "Please choose me. Please validate that I'm good enough. Please prove that I can do this."
And that frequency? It's repellent. Not because you're doing anything wrong, but because desperation, no matter how well disguised, creates contraction in your audience. They can feel that you're forcing.
This is the exhausting loop so many soul-led entrepreneurs get stuck in. Doing more and more whilst feeling less and less aligned. Working harder whilst wondering why it all feels so heavy.
The Invisible Role of the Nervous System in Business Stagnation
What we don't talk about enough is how your nervous system directly impacts your business flow.
When your nervous system is dysregulated, when you're operating from survival mode, when there's an unconscious block or a deep-seated belief that's activated, your energy contracts. Your frequency literally changes. And that shift ripples out into everything you create.
Your content becomes performative instead of magnetic. Your sales conversations feel pushy instead of aligned. Your visibility triggers fear instead of excitement. Your offers carry the energy of proving instead of serving.
And here's the really fascinating part: the universe is an incredibly accurate mirror. If your frequency is saying "don't send me more clients because I'm not actually safe to hold this next level," then guess what? You won't get more clients. Not because you're not good enough, but because energetically, you're blocking the very thing you say you want.
This is what happened with my client. She wanted to double her income. She wanted more clients. She wanted to fill her containers. But her nervous system was saying: "That feels terrifying. That feels unsafe. That feels like too much."
And so the clients simply weren't coming. Not because her offer wasn't good enough. Not because her marketing was wrong. But because there was a fundamental frequency mismatch between what she consciously desired and what her body felt safe to receive.

The "Stagnation to Sales Flow" Diagnostic
Through years of working with clients and moving through my own blocks, I've developed a process I now call the Stagnation to Sales Flow Diagnostic. It's the exact framework I took my client through when we discovered her frequency block.
Step 1: What's Your Energetic Baseline?
This is always where we start. Not with your funnel. Not with your messaging. With your actual state of being right now.
I ask:
What frequency are you leading from right now?
Where are you in your mind, your body, your energy?
What's your emotional baseline when you think about your business?
How does your body feel when you imagine having more clients?
For my client, when we checked in on this, she realised she was operating from a place of frustration and mild panic. Not expanded possibility. Not grounded confidence. Frustration and panic.
And here's the thing: you cannot call in aligned clients from a frequency of frustration. You cannot create sales flow from panic. That energy doesn't magnetise. It repels.
So we had to name it first. To acknowledge: okay, this is where we are. No judgement. No shame. Just awareness.
Step 2: Who Are You Being Right Now?
The next layer is to look at who you're actually being as you show up in your business. Not who you think you should be. Not who you're performing as. Who you actually are at this moment.
Are you forcing? Pushing through resistance, overriding your body's signals, muscling your way towards goals that feel too big?
Are you fawning? People-pleasing, over-delivering, making yourself smaller to keep others comfortable, avoiding your full expression because you're scared of taking up too much space?
Or are you flowing? Moving with your energy, trusting your timing, allowing strategy to emerge from alignment rather than control?
For my client, she was definitely in forcing mode. Trying to push herself towards an income goal that her body had contracted around. Working harder to make something happen that didn't actually feel safe yet.
Step 3: What's the Nervous System Story Behind the Sales Story?
This is where we go deep. Because surface-level symptoms always point to deeper patterns.
I asked my client about her vision. Where did she want her business to go? What was she calling in?
Her vision was big. Really big. Inspiring and beautiful and exactly what her soul wanted.
But then we looked at what that vision actually meant. To reach her income goal, she'd need to double her current revenue. And whilst consciously she wanted that, her body had a very different response.
Her body contracted. Tightened. Pulled back.
Why? Because in her previous job, earning that amount of money had required her to completely sacrifice herself. Her wellbeing, her boundaries, her peace. She'd burnt out earning less than what she was now trying to bring in through her business.
So unconsciously, there was this deep pattern of: "To make more money, I have to suffer more."
Add to that her high freedom value. She values spaciousness and ease and not being constantly on. But her only current offer was one-to-one work. So there was also this unconscious resistance of: "If I get more clients at this level, I'm going to be so busy. I won't have any freedom. I'll be trapped again."
Can you see the energetic contradiction here?
Consciously: "I want to double my income." Unconsciously: "That feels unsafe, exhausting, and like I'll lose myself in the process."
And guess what happens when those two frequencies are in conflict? Nothing. Stagnation. The exact frustrating stuck place she'd found herself in.
I said to her: why would people be booking calls? That's why you're not getting more calls. Because right now, this bigger income feels contracting. It feels scary, it feels unattainable based on the identity that you're leading with. And if you had more calls, if you had more people right now, it's going to get you closer to that big income. So why would you be, it's an energetic mismatch.
Common Patterns: Where Frequency Blocks Show Up
As I've worked with hundreds of women through this process, I've started to notice the most common places frequency blocks show up:
Visibility wobbles: You know you need to be visible but every time you go to post or go live or show up fully, your body clenches. You rewrite captions seven times. You delete videos before posting them. You go silent for weeks and then force yourself to show up from guilt.
Undercharging: You know your work is valuable but you can't bring yourself to raise your prices. You discount often. You add bonuses to justify your fees. You feel guilty about money changing hands.
Launch dread: The thought of launching makes you want to hide. You procrastinate the entire thing. You make it perfect before you'll put it out there. You avoid talking about it once it's live.
Overgiving: You extend sessions, offer bonus support, answer messages at all hours. You tie your worth to how available you are. You struggle to hold boundaries because saying no feels like letting people down.
All of these patterns point to the same core issue: your nervous system doesn't feel safe at your next level. And until you address that, no amount of strategy will create sustainable flow.
Frequency Calibration: The Real Strategy Shift
So how do you actually shift your frequency? How do you move from stagnation to sales flow?
Embodied Selling From a Regulated State
First, you have to get honest about your state before you try to sell anything.
If you're dysregulated, anxious, panicked, desperate, forcing, that energy will infuse everything you create. Your content will feel off. Your sales calls will feel pushy. Your launches will feel heavy.
So before you write another caption, before you jump on another sales call, before you plan another launch, you regulate first.
This looks like:
Taking three deep belly breaths
Putting your hand on your heart and checking in
Moving your body to shift stagnant energy
Asking yourself: what do I actually need right now?
Embodied selling isn't about having the perfect script or the right framework. It's about being so regulated in your own system that people feel safe around you. That your energy becomes the invitation.

Finding Safety in the Next Level
For my client, the solution wasn't to push harder towards her income goal. It was to find a way to make that goal feel safe.
We talked about building an offer ecosystem over time. About creating multiple pathways to that revenue number so it wasn't all dependent on one-to-one capacity. About gradual expansion instead of forcing massive leaps.
We talked about what would need to be true for her nervous system to feel safe holding that next level. What support she'd need. What beliefs she'd need to shift. What parts of her identity were ready to evolve.
Because here's what I know: you can't white-knuckle your way to sustainable success. You have to grow the internal capacity to hold it first.
If she doesn't find a way to work through this and to use this awareness now to move forward, then she will continually be blocked and stay blocked at around this level of income. And her vision will continue to feel too big.
Rewriting Your Business Rhythm Based on Your Nervous System
The shift isn't about doing more. It's about being more aligned with what you're already doing.
Once you're regulated, you start to notice how frequency shows up everywhere:
In your content: Are you creating from inspiration or obligation? From overflow or proving? From service or people-pleasing?
In client calls: Are you holding space or performing? Listening deeply or waiting to respond? Trusting the process or trying to control outcomes?
In your capacity: Are you honouring your actual energy or pushing past your limits? Building spaciousness or filling every gap? Trusting your rhythm or forcing someone else's pace?
Permission to Shift Based on Alignment
And sometimes, the most aligned move is to change course entirely.
Maybe your offer needs to evolve. Maybe your pricing needs to shift. Maybe your timeline needs to extend. Maybe you need to pause entirely whilst you do the inner work.
There's this belief in the online space that consistency means never changing, never slowing down, never admitting you need to pivot. But that's not consistency. That's rigidity. And rigidity breaks.
True consistency is staying committed to alignment even when it means disappointing people's expectations of you. Even when it means releasing an offer that's no longer serving you. Even when it means choosing your nervous system over your revenue goals.
Integration: Leading From Frequency
What Aligned Success Actually Feels Like
Once you start building from frequency instead of force, everything shifts.
Success stops feeling like something you have to chase and starts feeling like something you're allowing. Like you're finally in the right current and you can let yourself be carried instead of constantly swimming upstream.
Your content flows because you're not trying to convince anyone of anything. You're just sharing what's true. Your client calls feel easeful because you're not performing expertise. You're just being yourself and trusting that's enough. Your launches feel exciting because they're coming from genuine overflow, not scarcity or proving.
This isn't about doing less. It's about doing differently. It's about leading from your nervous system, not from pressure.
Spotting Misalignment Before You Spiral
The beautiful thing about doing this work is that you start to catch misalignment earlier. You notice when you're moving into forcing before you've completely exhausted yourself. You feel the contraction in your body before you've created a whole launch from that energy.
You become so attuned to your own frequency that you can course-correct in real time.
This doesn't mean you never feel fear or doubt or resistance. It means you don't let those states run your business. You feel them, you regulate, and then you choose your next move from a clearer place.
Creating Strategies That Match Your Current Energy
One of the biggest shifts I see in my clients is when they stop trying to launch like everyone else and start creating strategies that actually honour their energy.
Maybe you're not a five-day challenge person. Maybe webinars make you want to hide. Maybe you need more spaciousness in your timeline. Maybe you thrive with intimate conversations instead of big visibility plays.
All of that is valid. All of that can work. But only if you're honest about what actually feels aligned for you instead of trying to force yourself into someone else's blueprint.

Your Business Can't Outgrow Your Frequency
Here's the truth that most people don't want to hear: your business can't outgrow the version of you still running it.
If you're building from survival, your business will reflect that. If you're operating from scarcity, your income will mirror it back. If your nervous system doesn't feel safe holding more, you won't receive more.
This isn't about toxic positivity or spiritual bypassing. This is about understanding that your internal state creates your external reality. And if you want different results, you have to become a different frequency first.
My client now knows exactly where the block is that's keeping her feeling stuck in her business. And she knows exactly where her internal focus needs to be to move forward. Because she has brilliance. She has the strategy. She has the systems. What she needed was to address the frequency mismatch.
And that's what this work is about. Not just teaching you how to market better or how to sell more. But helping you become the woman who can hold what she's asking for.

This blog only scratches the surface of the frequency work I teach. If you're ready to dive deeper into understanding your own energetic blocks and how to shift them, I invite you to listen to Episode 188 of the Resourced podcast.
Reflection prompt for you: Put your hand on your heart right now. Take a breath. And ask yourself: What am I consciously asking for in my business that my body doesn't actually feel safe to hold? Where is the mismatch between my vision and my frequency?
You don't need another strategy. You need emotional safety. You need nervous system regulation. You need to address the frequency mismatch that's keeping you stuck.
And that's exactly what I help my clients do. Through the Ascension Academy, through the Transcendence Mastermind, and through private mentoring, I guide soul-led entrepreneurs to close the gap between what they're capable of and what they're actually allowing themselves to receive.
Because you're not stuck. You're just still scaling from survival. And once you shift that, everything changes.
If this resonated and you're ready to identify and shift your own frequency blocks, explore working with me through Private Mentoring or the Transcendence Mastermind.. Your business is waiting for you to match its frequency.
